Welcome!
My name is Brooke, and I'm an action-oriented executive leader and operator.
For the past 13 years, I've worked at the intersection of startups and video games, leading efforts in partnerships, production, and go-to-market.
I combine my talent for strategic thinking with in-depth knowledge of the games industry to develop and execute partnership related strategies that leverage gaming’s global array of creative talent and services.
A bit about myself...
I was born and raised in Seattle, studied Physics & Communications in Nashville, and began my career in San Francisco, where I quickly discovered a passion for startups. This led me to the video streaming service Justin.tv, which later launched Twitch.
I was captivated by the straightforward, customer-focused culture and am forever grateful to have had my formative professional years shaped by some of the world's best technology entrepreneurs: Emmett Shear, Justin Kan, Michael Seibel, Kyle Vogt, and Kevin Lin.
Over the next decade, I held numerous strategic leadership positions in the gaming industry – ranging from game studios to game platforms, vendors to producers. My thirst for new experiences took me across the global gaming landscape, from LATAM to Eastern Europe and Asia.
In 2023, I founded CDR External Development to guide businesses in exploring and executing successful outsourcing initiatives.
I live in Oakland with my wife (Laura), two kids (Tyler and Colton), and red lab (Sierra). In addition to games, I enjoy trail running, mountain biking, snowboarding or any other activity that allows me to play with gravity.
